A Cooler Shade Of Grey
We know we have talked about it before, but a softer colour has shone through, and it’s a ebony and ivory and grey for AW14/15. Grey is the new transitional and very versatile shade , that can almost look bland but when it comes to Haute Couture it’s shimmering colour that will suit nearly every skin tone. Black has always been at the forefront but this delicate colour has started to push itself forward.
It is possibly known to be a bland colour but paired with vibrant colours it stands out as almost as versatile as black. With blues, orange, red and white it’s making it’s mark in the fashion world this AW 14 and right through to SS15. Keep the balance for a night out with black and look at the celebrities that have been wearing this colour on the runways.
There is a stereotype that grey is a bland colour and can’t really be a part of a chic look. For warm greys these shades contain yellow hues and work perfect to create a playful look. You can keep the balance by combining these hues with black, white and other shades of grey and for cool greys. Grey can come in almost any hue, and so therefore can become a lot more interesting to wear. How will you be wearing your new colour this winter?
Whether it be a coat, sweater or dress, accessorise well, and this will make an amazing different and ad some sparkle to your look. And grey can be worn in any texture – May it be metallics, satin, lace, or leather.
